Micro-Mineralogy

In my free time, one of my hobbies is to collect well-crystallized microminerals (typical 10 µm to a few mm). I collect from vugs of volcanic rocks and in old mine dumps. Allthough this started mainly as a hobby, some of my active research projects are based on the study of micro-minerals.
